DeSoto Pool
The DeSoto Pool Complex is
made up of three separate pools. The dive tank is 11 feet
deep and features two diving boards, a one-meter, and a
two-meter. The swim tank is three to five feel deep and
the wading pool is available for babies and toddlers.
Children six and under must be with an adult at all times.
Children seven and older may be dropped off, but will be
required to take a swim test before they are allowed to swim
alone or use the dive tank.
Arm floaties and life jackets are allowed at the pool. Ring
tubes with seats are also allowed. Ring tubes without seats,
tubes, rafts, noodles, and toys are not allowed because they
obstruct the view of the lifeguards.
The pool area feautes a sun deck, lounge chairs, tables with
umbrellas, and shaded areas..
Food can be brought in but is allowed only on the top deck.
Alcohol is not allowed. Vending machines are available.

Complex is within walking distance of the DeSoto Golf Course and the
19th Hole Restaurant
Natatorium Pool
The fitness center boasts a
25-meter indoor heated pool called the Natatorium. The average
pool temperature is 85 degrees, and the five-lane swimming pool
has a deep-water area and a shallow area ranging from 3½ feet to
8 feet.
The pool accommodates
non-swimmers and swimmers who participate in aquatic programs
and activities. It is equipped with a portable aquatic lift in
addition to steps for safe and easy access to the water.
A baby/wading pool is
available for small children. Children ages 6 and under must be
accompanied by an adult at all times.
There are many options for
fitness while enjoying the water. The pool has structured
classes, lap swim and open swim time (water walking, play, fun
swim). All classes are co-ed and patrons may drop in at any
time. |
